Ajmer

Ajmer is a popular pilgrimage centre for its shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Ajmer was founded in the late 7th century A.D. by Ajayraj Singh Chauhan of Chauhan dynasty. Ajmer has evolved as a manufacturing and trade centre for cotton, woollen textiles, leather, shoes, hosiery, and pharmaceutical products. Poultry is a major source of livelihood for farmers here. Manglana

Manglana is a village in the Parbatsar tehsil in the district of Nagaur in Rajasthan. Located 423 meters above sea level, Manglana used to be known as Mangalanaka and was part of the Chauhan Kingdom. Its current population is just over 3,300 residents and a majority of them belong to the Jat community. Manglana is situated 7 km away from the ‘marble city’ of Makrana.
