Ajmer

Ajmer is a popular pilgrimage centre for its shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Ajmer was founded in the late 7th century A.D. by Ajayraj Singh Chauhan of Chauhan dynasty. Shamalaji

Shamalaji is a popular place for pilgrims in Gujarat. It has one of the largest temples in the Sabarkantha district which was built in the 11th century. It lies on the Udaipur-Ahmedabad highway and is so, is an easily accessible tourist spot. According to local folklore, this temple has been around since the Mahabharata. Many villages like Modhari, Sunsar, Napada, and Revdar were built around this temple.
