A semi-urban place, located in the costal Andhra Pradesh, Akividu is well-known for its rich culture and heritage. The biggest panchayat in West Godavari district of the state, the town is situated along the Gudiwada and Bhimavaram rail route and National Highway NH214 passes through this town. Akividu has many places of worship and also houses one of the tallest Stupas in the country. The town also epitomises religious harmony.
