Alsisar is a town in the Western Indian state of Rajasthan in the Jhunjhunu district. Temperatures are known to soar above 48°C during summers and then dip to subzero levels during winters. Conditions are pretty much similar to the neighbouring city of Churu, which lies at a distance of 73 km. Alsisar is located in a semi-arid region which explains why conditions are so desert-like.
