Amballur is a village in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. It is located at a distance of 25 km from the biggest city of Kerala – Cochin. It forms the southernmost edge of the Ernakulam district and comes under the jurisdiction of the Amballur Panchayat. It is not very far off from the picturesque Kaithapuzha Lake.
