Anchatgeri

Anchatgeri is a village in the South Indian state of Karnataka. It is situated in the Dharwad district which is about 21 km away the district headquarters.

Kumbashi

Kumbashi is a small village in Karnataka. It is part of the Udupi District and the Kundapur Taluk. It lies on the Udupi-Kundapur Highway. The village is also known as Anegudde. It was named Kumbashi because the demon Kumbhasura is said to have been slain here. Local folklore suggests that it was once the abode of Lord Vinayaka, and hence the name Anegudde (Anne-Elephant, Gudde-Hillock). The place is famous for an old and popular Ganesha Temple.
