Angalakuduru

A village Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district, Angalakuduru is located 5 km from the Tenali state road and 20 km from the district headquarters in Guntur. It is around 300 km from the state capital Hyderabad. The real name of the village was “Anganala Koduru”, ‘Anganala’ means ‘Women’s’ and ‘Koduru’ was a term commonly used for ‘village’ or ‘hamlet’. In entirety, the word actually meant “Women’s village”. With time, the name of the village metamorphosed into “Angalakuduru”.
