Ankleshwar is a city in the Bharuch district of Gujarat. It is 10 km from Bharuch. It is known for its industrial township called GIDC. About Godhra

Godhra

Godhra is a small town in the state of Gujarat. It also serves as the administrative headquarters for Panchmahal district. Its name is derived from two different Hindi words ‘gou’ and ‘dhara’. ‘Gou’ means cow and ‘dhara’ carries two meanings – one being ‘land’ or ‘hold’ and other being ‘flow’.

Other must see places are Kanelav Talav, Ram Sagar Talav, Vaishanav temples i.e. two temples of Lord Gokulanathji  and Vaishnav Sampraday (Vaisnal society), and one each for Lord Gusaiji and Lord Mahaprabhuji, Rathanpur, Old Methodist Church, the Jhakurkhan Ara Masjid, and the Bohora Masjid.
