A village situated on the banks of the Pampa River in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, Annavaram has recently become a much revered place of pilgrimage. The people of this village believe that the land belongs to the two presiding deities, Lord Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swami Temple and Goddess Anantalaxmi Satyavathi Ammavaru. The shrine, which is situated on top of the Ratnagiri hills, is considered as second in auspicious after Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. National Highway NH 5 passes through Annavaram.

Naidupetta is the fourth largest town in Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district. Situated on the banks of Swarnamukhi River, this town is 33 km away from Venkatagiri, 66 km from Tirupati, 68 km from Nellore and 106 km from Chennai.
