Anupuram is a small town in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is not very far from the suburbs of Chennai such as Chengalpattu, Kelambakkam as well as the sea-shore temple town of Mahabalipuram. The town lies on the western side of the famous picturesque highway known as the East Coast Road or the ECR. It is located at a mere distance of 13 km from Mahabalipuram.
