Attibele is a suburb of Bangalore in the South Indian state of Karnataka. The village of olden days gradually turned into a town after National Highway 7 was expanded as a part of the Golden Quadrilateral project. The place was earlier referred to as Oudumbapuri, based on references and evidence from old manuscripts. Banagalore city lies at a distance of 31 km.
