Ayoor is a small town in the Kollam district of Kerala, also known as “God’s Own Country”. The district headquarters of Kollam is only 42 km away. The Arabian Sea coast is also roughly a same distance away. In fact, Kollam is also located next to the beautiful lake-cum-estuary called Ashtamudi.
