Bahigaon is a small village in the Central Indian state of Chattisgarh. The nearest major urban hubs are the cities of Raipur, Durg and Bhilai at distances of 153, 159, 175 km respectively. The vast Sitanadi Wildlife Sanctuary is also located at a distance of 26 km, while the Amravati Forest range is also located 44 km away. The village is actually sandwiched between these two sanctuaries.

Being a remote village, naturally there naturally are no great places for tourists to accommodate themselves. One is forced to venture into Raipur for lodging.
