Hatti

A census town in Raichur district of Karnataka, Hatti is famous for gold mining. Located about 20kms away from Lingsugur, the town is well connected by road to Bangalore, Hubli, Hyderabad and other major cities. This mine is this town is supposed to be one of the most ancient metal mines in the world, as it dates back to the Pre-Ashokan period.
