Baswada is a small village in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The nearest major agglomeration is the city of Ratlam at distance of 33 km. The village is very close to the similar sounding Banswara district across the border in Rajasthan. Though the village may not bring in visitors with specific aims, they can always stop by to grab a bite at the local dhabas.

The village in itself may not have anything interesting to offer. However, the state in itself is a haven of tourist attraction, often referred to as ‘Hindustan-ka-Dil’ or the heart of India. The neighbouring city of Ratlam has a couple of tourist attractions among which Sagod Jain Temple, Hussain Tekri Jaora, Barbad Hanuman Temple are worth a visit.
