Shamalaji

Shamalaji is a popular place for pilgrims in Gujarat. It has one of the largest temples in the Sabarkantha district which was built in the 11th century. It lies on the Udaipur-Ahmedabad highway and is so, is an easily accessible tourist spot. According to local folklore, this temple has been around since the Mahabharata.
