Betma is a small town from the Indore district of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is an old town from the Malwa region and is believed to have been around since the 11 century AD. Indore (27 km) is the city nearest to Betma. The name ‘Betma’ comes from the Hindi words ‘baith’ meaning sit and ‘ma’ meaning mother. Betma has many places that are interesting for tourists.
