Bharod is a small village in the westernmost Indian state of Gujarat. The nearest major urban agglomeration is the city of Ahmedabad at a distance of 150 km south. The famous hill station of Mount Abu is also not far away and lies at a distance of 89 km north-east, across the border in Rajasthan. Enthusiasts with a keen interest for culture, cuisine and havelis (palaces) can visit this place.
