About Bhilai


A city in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh, Bhilai is located 25 kilometres west of the capital Raipur, on the main Howrah–Mumbai rail line. The city, which is situated in eastern central India, has the National Highway 6 passing through it. Famous for the Bhilai Steel Plant, the largest in the country, the city is the only manufacturer of rails in India.
