Bijapur

Bijapur is an ancient historical and cultural city that was established in 11th century during the Chalukya dynasty. It is 530 km away from Bangalore and nearby Belgaum. Known for its medieval monuments of Islamic architecture, Bijapur has the second largest dome in the world, the “Gol Gumbaz” and the first mosque in India, the “Jamai Masjid”.
