Bovikanam is a village in the Kasargod district of Kerala. The village or settlement is very close to the Karnataka border. The district headquarters, Kasargod, is located at a distance of 13 km (20 minutes’ drive). The city of Mangalore in Karnataka is not far off either and lies at a distance of 66 km.
