About Burdwan

Burdwan

Burdwan, also known as Bardhaman, is a city in the East Indian state of West Bengal. It is a part of the district with the same name. The city was made a district capital during the British Raj, during which the city’s name became Burdwan which continues to this day. There are several places to visit in and around Burdwan.

About Barhi

Barhi

A small block town in Hazaribagh District of Indian state Jharkhand, Barhi is situated from 41 km from District Headquarters Hazaribagh, 19 km from Chauparan and 125 km from state capital Ranchi. The Grand Trunk Road passes through this town. This road was the most important means of military communication between the lower provinces and northern India from 1780 to 1858. Cities near Barhi are Jhumri Tilaiya, Hazaribag, Chatra and Hisua.
