Butati is a small village near the famous city of Ajmer (106 km away) in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. It is a part of the Nagaur district under the Ajmer division. The state capital, Jaipur, is also at a distance of 233 km. The area is semi-arid in nature and travelers can always stop by for a bite at the local dhabas or a darshan at the temples.
