About Chagallu

Chagallu

Chagallu is a village in Andhra Pradesh’s West Godavari District. It is also called the Chagallu Mandal and has about 10 village panchayats under it.  The city nearest to Chagallu is Rajahmundry (23 km away.) Chagallu has two large industries - VVS Sugars Ltd. and the Distillery Division of Jeypore Sugars Ltd. Chagallu also has a registered Old Age Home that provides care for the elderly that operates through a trust.

Places to Stay
Although there are no hotels in Chagallu itself, there are a few budget hotels in Rajahmundry and Niddavolu. These include Anand Regency (Tariff- Rs. 1000 and above) and Dhana Laxshmi Hotel and Lodging (Tariff – Rs. 500-1000)
