Chapra

Chapra is a small administrative division in the Nadia district in West Bengal. It is 80km from Patna. The Nadia district lies on the east of Hooghly River and is mostly a region of alluvial plains. A few distributaries cut across this plain causing flood every few years. They have a police station which serves the entire block.
