Chemperi is a small town in the Kannur district of north Kerala. It is an educational hub for the people of Kannur district. Chemperi is famous for the production and export of rubber and spices. It is situated on the banks of the river Chemperi and is a beautiful, scenic town with many small streams. The town has more recently become a local business hub, with people migrating from all parts of Kerala to this region.
