About Chhapi

Chhapi

Chhapi is a village in the Vadgam taluka of the Banas Kantha district in Gujarat. It is located between the villages of Sidpur and Kanodar. It is about 12 km from Vadgam and 109 km from State capital, Gandhinagar. Chhapi is known for its railway station and the railway line that passes through it. Chhapi is well known for its Jain temples and timber industry.

Bhilad is situated around 120 kms north of Mumbai and 130 kms South of Surat. It is a town in the Valsad district of Gujarat, situated between the Gujarat-Maharashtra border and the Union Territory Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The town is named after a small hill called “Bhilkhai Hill”. And it falls on the route to Mumbai on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Expressway. Devotees from Gujarat and Maharasthra gather to celebrate this momentous occasion where the “dhvaja” (flag) was hoisted and the temple was officially inaugurated.
