Chikkala is a village in the West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. It is famous for the temple of Lord Shiva which has a Sivalingam that is believed to have been erected there along with the chikkam by Lord Hanuman. This is how the village got the name - Sivadevuni Chikkala.
