Chintaparthi is a small village in the Rayalseema region of the South Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The village is located on the southern bank of the Marri Kunta Lake. The nearest major urban agglomeration close by is the temple town of Tirupati at a distance of 85 km east of the village (an hour and a half away).
