Chittariparamba is a small town in the Chittariparamba Panchayat of the Kannur district in Kerala. The town was named after Chittalari – a variety of rice that is cultivated there. The district headquarters, Kannur, lies at a distance of 33 km west along the Arabian Sea coast. Temple, cuisine as well as beach enthusiasts must visit this place.
