Known for being one of the most cosmopolitan cities of Kerala, Cochin Bypass is a part of the bypass segment of the National Highway NH-47. The highway stretches from Edapally , Aroor Vyttila, kundannoor to Maradu. There are shopping malls in this area. This city which is called the Queen of Arabia has one of the best harbors in the country.
