Dharapuram is a town in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It comes within the Tirupur district of the state. The major nearest urban agglomerations are the cities of Coimbatore and Tirupur at the distances of 83 and 50 km respectively. It is said to have been the capital of Kongu Nadu under the reign of the Kongu Cholas.
