Delhi Darshan is the service offered by Delhi Transportation Corporation to the visitors of Delhi on all days except Monday. It is a one-day sightseeing service which starts at Scindia House near Connaught place.
The journey starts at 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. The ticket cost per head for adults is Rs. 200/- and for kids (5 to 12 years) is Rs. 100/-. This trip starts from Janpath place so that it can cover all the important buildings.
Itinerary of this darshan as follows:
It starts the trip at 9:30 am from Janpath and then reaches Red Fort: Lal Qila. The allotted time to visit this place is 45 minutes.
It starts from Red Fort at 10:15 am and reaches Raj Ghat and the allotted time is 20 minutes.
Then from Raj Ghat, it reaches Birla Mandir and the allotted time here is 30 minutes.
The next place is Qutab Minar and the lunch point is near Qutab Minar.
It goes to Lotus Temple where the allotted time is 45 minutes and then it reaches Humayun’s Tomb. The allotted time to spend in this place is 45 minutes.
The passengers will be dropped in Akshardham Temple at 5:00 pm.
During the trip, the bus passes through several historical and government offices such as India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, Pragati Maidan, Santi Bhan and other places.
