A town in the Raichur district of Karnataka,Devadurga is famous for the 500-year-old baobab tree located in the heart of town. There are only a handful of Baobab trees in India and other known Baobabs are in the Haveri district. The town is also well-known for the HazratZahiruddinBadshahQuadri Al-JeelaniBagdadiDargah. One of the ancient forts in the state is located very close to the town.
