Dhamel is a small village in the westernmost Indian state of Gujarat. It is a part of the Kathiawar peninsula. The nearest major urban hub is the city of Amreli, which is located at a distance of 46 km from the village. The state capital, Gandhinagar, lies 242 km north-east of the village. The Arabian Sea coast in Mahuva lies 90 km away.
