Dhanora is an area in the industrial outskirts of Vadodara city. Some of the major industrial establishments located in the area are Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited and Gujarat Refinery. Vadodara city centre is located at a distance of 14 km south-east of the area. The state capital, Gandhinagar, lies at a distance of 121 km north-west of the town.
