Dhorimanna is a village is Rajasthan that forms part of the Gudha Malani tehsil in Barmer district. The name for this village was derived from the word ‘Dhora’ as it is landlocked by the Aravali Mountains and the sand dunes of the Thar Desert (Dhora.) The main market centre in this village is known as ‘Aalam Nagri’. Despite a massive drought in 1974, Dhorimanna has grown to become the largest panchayat in the district.
