About Dwarka

Dwarka

Dwarka is a town at the tip of the westernmost Indian state of Gujarat. It is one of the most important sites of Hindu pilgrimage and was a part of the Dwaraka kingdom, ruled over by lord Krishna. The town is coastal in terms of geography and comes within the Devbhoomi Dwarka district in the Kathiawar peninsula. The nearest major urban agglomeration is the city of Jamnagar at a distance of 131 km east of the town.

Samkhayali is a small hamlet in Gujarat’s Kutch district. It is well connected by road as well as rail. National Highways 15 and 8A passes through this village and it stretches up to Kandla Port and Gandhidham. Its nearby cities are Bhachau (19 km), Rapar (48 km) and Bhuj (97 km).
