Dwarakatirumala (also known as Dwaraka Tirumala)is a village that is 40 km away from the western Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. It is about 42 km away from Eluru. Dwarakatirumala is a holy pilgrimage center in south India and is famous for the Lord Venkateswara temple. There are many shrines and holy bathing ghats situated on both sides of the Godavari and Krishna rivers. The main temple stands out as a masterpiece in south Indian architecture.
