Edavanna is a small town in the Mallapuram district of Kerala. It is a part of the North Kerala Division and is located on the Calicut – Ooty Highway. It is also located close to the industrially developed city of Kozhikode erstwhile known as Calicut. It has a huge football fan following and annual football tournaments are organized at the football stadium here. A former Muslim League leader Seethi Haji was born in Edavanna.
