Epurupalem is one of the villages located in the Prakasam district of Chirala mandal, Andhra Pradesh. It forms the border for Guntur district and Bapatla. This village is known for the legendary art of entertaining people by narrating mythological stories known as ‘Hari Katha’. A majority of the people here are handloom weavers.
