Ettaiyapuram is a panchayat town and a part of the Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu. The district headquarters of Tuticorin, is located at a distance of 51 km south-east along the picturesque Bay of Bengal coast. Another major city, Tirunelveli, is not far either and is located at a distance of 74 km south-west. Enthusiasts of South Indian cuisine, landscape and temples must visit this place.
