Gadu is a village that is located in the district of Malia of Gujarat. It is one of 63 villages in this block. Visanvel and Samdhiyala are its neighbouring villages. IT was infamous for being the hideout of an outlaw called Gigo Baharwatiyo many years ago. It was said that he hid in at the peak of a hill. Gadu is also known as ‘Sherbaug’ or a ‘residence of lions’ because of its proximity to the Gir forest which is home to Asiatic Lions.
