About Galiakot


Galiakot is a small town in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. The town comes within the Dungarpur district. The nearest major urban agglomeration is the city of Udaipur, located at a distance of 150 km north-west of the town. The town is considered to be a Muslim pilgrimage, with Bohras being the single largest visitors. Galiakot is famous for the mausoleum of Babjee Moula Fakhruddin, a pious saintly man, who was killed by a local Bhil tribesman. These days, the dargah has turned into a sign of communal harmony.

The best place to put up for the night is Udaipur, which has a couple of good budget hotels in the city. A city and a municipality in Valsad district in the southern part of  Gujarat, Vapi, is situated on the banks of the Damanganga River. the largest city in the Valsad district, Vapi is now a very important industrial town and is known to be the largest industrial area in Asia in terms of small-scale industries. The numerous chemical industry plants in the city had once even earned it the rank of being one of the most polluted places in the world.
