Ghataprabha is a small town in the South Indian state of Karnataka. Those fascinated by Indian architecture and cuisine can visit this place. The nearest major urban agglomeration close by is the city of Kolhapur, across the border in Maharashtra, at a distance of 89 km north-west of the town. Panjim, the capital of Goa, is also 190 km away (four hours’ drive).

The Dajipur Wildlife Sanctuary (55 km) is also not very far away.
