Ghodagaon is a small village in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh. The village is located quite close to the Odisha border. The nearest major urban agglomeration close to the city lies in Jeypore (in Odisha) at a distance of 125 km east of the village. The state capital of Raipur lies at a distance of 255 km north. Ghodagaon lies quite close to the Amravati Forest Range. Wildlife and environment enthusiasts will find the area interesting.

Being a remote village, naturally there are no great places for tourists for accommodation. One is forced to venture into Raipur for lodging. There are a couple of good budget hotels in the city. Some of the places which are worth a visit are Mahant Ghasidas Museum, Guru Tegh Bahadur Museum, Nandanvan Zoo, 5D shows (one of the very few in India to have 5D theatres) and others.
