Gogamedi is a small town in the Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan. It is about 359 km away from Jaipur. The town was named after the famous Rajput warrior Gogaji who is a local hero amongst Rajput and Jat communities in the region. According to legend, Gogaji was born with blessings of Guru Gorakhnath to King Jewar Chauhan and Queen Rani Bachal. The town has a tomb that is dedicated to Gogaji.
