Goganda is a small town that is located nearly 35 km away from Udaipur in Rajasthan. The locals often call it ‘Gogunda.’ This town has tremendous historical significance as it was the capital of Mewar for a short period. Maharana Udai Singh of Mewar passed away at Goganda and his son Maharana Pratap’s coronation ceremony was also performed here.
