Hili

Hili is a small town located in the Belurghat sub division of the Dakshin Dinajpur district of West Bengal. It is known for its significance in the war of 1971 where over 400 soldiers were killed from both sides of India and Pakistan. It is a checkpoint on the Indo – Bangladesh border.
