A Hindu pilgrm centre and panchayat village, Hornadu is located in Chickmagalur district, Karnataka. The presiding deity of this village is Sri Annapoorneshwari (Goddess of Food). The temple is well-known as it believed that Saint Adi Shankaracharya had consecrated the idol.
